What did you last replace batteries for?  Logan’s toy truck that he’s getting tomorrow for his birthday.  It’s orginal batteries were already dead.

What have you thrown away that you probably could have had repaired?  A toy probably right before our garage sale this summer.

Among items in your line of sight right now, what should probably be put in the trash?  The wrapper on the coffee table.

When did you last use disposable cutlery while dining in your house?  Maddie’s birthday party and we will again tomorrow for Logan’s.

Whose actions cause you to waste time you otherwise wouldn’t waste?  People complaining about stuff that doesn’t even matter in the grand scheme of things.

I’m really starting to feel like a full fledged couch potato. I have been rather worried that being stuck on the couch would mean weight gain and I would have to find a fast way to lose some weight after this is all said and done. I’m also getting close to being done breast feeding Logan (not totally by choice) and that will open lots of diet choices. So once again I’ve looked around online for safe diet pills. But did I think of looking at the scale agian before looking around. Nope and when I finally did I’ve found that my weight has stay at 150lbs!!! I’m only up 1.5 pounds from my final weigh in for a biggest loser challenge that I was in with some friends. Which means once I’m back up and moving I can continue right back on my weight loss plan in a safer way minus an pills!!!

That would be Maddie and I swear she thought she turned 13 rather than 6 a month ago. Lately all she talk about is Hannah Montana, ipods, and what her back pack must look like for school. It’s with this that I’ve realized that my little girl is growing up. I can hardly believe that she is going to be in first grade this year. These last 6 years have gone by so fast. I swear I blinked and she was 6 and a big sister to a 3 yr old and almost 1 yr old.

As fast as it’s gone I would not change one single time other than being able to slow it down. What a wonderful little girl she is and I can not wait to see her as a young lady one day… but not too soon. LOL

These days getting out and about is quite a exciting thing. So imagine my excitement when Joel declared we need some more cat supplies. I about jumped up and down offering to go get them with him. It was at this point that I realized how much I am ready to have my foot back. When a trip to Petco becomes the most exciting part of one’s week you know you’ve been cooped up for far too long.

I am about a week away from my next appointment where I am sure we will discuss when I can start weight bearing and how long of a process it will be. I know it’s not going to be an over night thing and it’s going to take work and most likely some pain. But it’s better than being stuck on the couch and having to use crutches.

I will keep you all updated.

When ever Joel thinks ahead he has always mentioned wanting to have Lasik surgery done. It’s something he has talked about for a very long time. I really wish we just had money laying around so that he could have it done. It’s too bad that insurance companies don’t cover more of it. It isn’t cosmetic in my eyes since it would cut down on their yearly costs for contacts/glasses. I know it can’t be that cheap in the long run for them to cover that versus a one time fee of getting it done. Hopefully over time the price if Lasik will come down and Joel can just get it done!!!
