Ok so I’m on a money saving rant today. I don’t about you but I hate how much money car insurance has gotten over the years. I feel like the cheap auto insurance still costs you an arm and a leg. Heck at times it seems they want your first born too. I like to look at insurance rates to see if I can find a better deal but it seems that most sites quotes don’t always end up being what you end up with. There are always the little things that you don’t think about like when you back into your camper and cause damage to your van and have to file a claim. Yes I did that and I still feel really dumb about it almost 2 1/2 years later now. I wrote all about it on my other blog Gazing ahead if you just have to check it out. I believe the link is in the side links. Please be kind though I had a very rough day that day back in May of 06. Ok I better get off my soap box now and getting some cleaning done.

If you are anything like my hubby and I, then you are always looking to find at least a buck or two. We do not like to buy most things even groceries and health and beauty without finding the best deals. When it comes to home electronics my hubby can spend hours to days looking for the best deal on things. He is even willing to look into the sites that offer wholesale electronics. They might not always offer the true best price but at least he has looked into the best deal possible. If you are anything like him you also find the place that offers free shipping as well. This is totally his department. I am the household goods and clothing shopping queen. Right now I do a program called Savings Angel and I have a full stocked pantry (Joel says enough shampoo and conditioner to last till we are 80) with 100′s-1000′s worth of money saved. Well next week I turn the big 3-0. I am not sure how I feel but it is so weird to actually be turning that age. I remember thinking gosh I’ll never be an adult when I was younger and how 30 and 40 seems life times away. Now that it’s less than a week away I’m left wondering where the heck time went. But the thing that gets me the most is how my face is breaking out more since I stopped breast feeding Logan. I can’t believe I’m actually having to look for an acne treatment and almost 30. What a cruel joke!!!

When making the decision whether or not to use a drug it’s always best to do your research and talk to your Doctor. We see ads all over the place for this new wonder drug Alli and how it’s your best friend. But how many people are actually aware of the common side effects of alli? I personally could never take it because it’s not recommended for people with gastrointestinal problems and my stomach has a mind of it’s own. After reading the normal side effects though not sure I’d want to chance those either. If you are wondering what I am talking about take a second to check out that site.
