Christmas List

There are so many things I would love to put on my Christmas list this year. However because Joel and I are going to Hawaii in February and we also redid the bathroom we need to save money. I would love to have some more Contemporary Jewelry that dresses up my boring outfits. I would also love to have one of those birthstone type necklaces that have charms for each of the kids birth months. That will have to way though because I need new knives and jewlery box more this year and they are more in our price range. I really like those new pandora braclets that a local jewler is selling that you personalize to fit you and your history with beads that are similar to the charm idea.

Grochery Shopping

I must admit I actually love going Grochery shopping. It honestly has nothing to do with the actual act of shopping though. I often go minus the kids so I can just have me time. In that time alone I’m also able to save us money because I can concentrate on my list, coupons, and even do a my part in green shopping by having a clear enough head to remember to bring my reuseable shopping bags. I totally love those things. We use them all of the time for so many purposes that would take days to list. I think we might even get some more here really soon when our Church sells them for $0.75 a bag!!!

Huhh

What the heck is Solo Slim? I have never heard of it but it keeps showing up as a side ad on my main Facebook page. I use to click the x next to the ads on there to make the dumb ones go away but honestly it doesn’t do any good and just wastes your time in my opinion. Honestly though I get sick of seeing ads for what I am assuming are weigtht loss pills. Don’t people realize that no magic pill is going to get them healthy? They have to decide to want to live a healthier lifestyle and get out there and make the difference. Money should not even be an issue because you can even make better choices on a small visit by adding canned veggies and fruit if you can’t afford the fresh stuff. So those that do fried foods all of time because it’s “cheaper” give me a break. You can make a family of five Spagettii, meatballs, green beans, and apple sauce for under $10 no problem if bought at Walmart. Ok stepping off the soap box now.

Missing my laptop

I am really missing my laptop right now. There are so many programs I use this time of the year on there to get our Christmas cards ready and other little thing. I so hate desktop computers and right now my only photo editing programs are on there. I really wish the warranty company would get their butts in gear and get on getting me a new hard drive for my laptop. Then I could get it reloaded with the saved backup and act like this never happened GRRR.

Cold air

Well the cold air is moving in and the house, my hair, and body are showing it big time. With the heat running a lot more we are seeing static fun all over the house. Logan will lay on the couch and then sit up with his hair standing up. My skin and hair are also starting to get very dry which means it’s time to start using lotion on an everyday basis and look for a new and improved form of hair vitamins so that my hair does not look like a frizzy mess on my head. Oh you just gotta love Winter.

Friday 5: The Middle

What film have you seen in the past year that’s completely average?  Too many to even name… hence why we don’t pay money to see many in the theaters.  Gotta love netflix!

Who’s the most average-looking person you know?  Seriously… how wrong is this question?

In what area of your life are you performing just well enough?  House cleaning… I could be so much better.

A new radio station features music you neither like nor dislike! What are three songs you’re likely to hear on it?  I only listen to one channel ever so this really would not apply to me.

What game or sport are you just okay in?  Most sports… I play well enough to enjoy it but not enough to ever make anything of it.

Dec 1st

Is it really December 1st already? I can not believe it. I have most of our shopping done already for Christmas which helps a ton but the holidays will be on us before we know it and it’s going to be crazy fast. I really wish we had a bit more money right now but with all of the little and big things that came up over the past few years it makes that impossible. However if we did have some money I would totally surprise Joel for Christmas and buy him some new office furniture for his space in the basement. I want to eventually make that space nice and cozy for him so he feels comfortable all year round. Instead his present is time with me in Hawaii. Guess that won’t be so bad at all ;)
