If you are the sort to flip someone the bird, what were the circumstances surrounding your most recent flip? If you’re not that type, have you ever, ever used that gestue?  I am not the type at all and can’t really remember a time when I did use it.

What’s a gesture you’ve made up, or what’s a gesture made up by (and shared with) your friends or family? I am sure that when I was in highschool my friends and I had tons but it’s been a while and I really can not recall any of them.

Are there any gestures that have specific, unique meanings in your workplace?  Well since I am a stay at home mom the main one is pinching your nose when a kid is stinky but it’s not unique.  Hopefully we are done using that gesture now though!

Have you ever received an anonymous gesture of kindness or affection?   How can an actual gesture be anonymous unless it’s more of an act really.  Just asking but a gesture is soemthing you see.

When did you take time this week to play? Probably way more than I should but then again you can’t get these years back with your kids so I can not worry about the little stuff!

This past week, what would you have liked to rewind so you could experience it again? All of the fun times we had in the pool with the kids while camping!

What happened this week to give you pause? Just relaxing at the campsite while the just just enjoy playing and relaxing.  It was a beautiful day with sun and a great breeze.  Allowed me to just pause and take a deep breath and joy the greatness we’ve been given!

From what situation this week would you have liked to eject yourself?  Joel and I picking at small stuff that did not matter at the time.

In what situation this week did you cede power to someone else?  I sometimes allow the kids power when the fight is not worth it because it’s the important things that do!

This one is appropriately named by the creator because they forgot to renew their hosting and last weeks Friday 5 could not get posted!

In the past month, what was your biggest OOPS?  Gosh if you read my blog on a regular basis you know that my life is full of those!!  The most recent biggest one is accidently setting my iPad on our bed in the camper and an unknown kid of mine left a scratch on the screen

In the past month, what inspired you to let out your most heartfelt WHEW? I took Allie to go get Maddie from school this week and I thought Logan was still sleeping in bed and that Joel had the monitor on down in the basement where he works.  Well Logan was not asleep and Joel did not have the monitor on.  Logan was standing at the window saying hi to us when we got home 10 mins later.  So he even figured out the safety knob cover on his door and broke out.

In the past month, what caused you to say, “HUH?”  I say that all of the time as I am a blonde a lot of the time.

In the past month, what influenced the most ZZZZZZZZs?  All of the yard and house work we have been doing around here!

In the past month, what was most GRRRRRRRRR-worthy?  Being cooped up in the house with the kids on super hot or rainy days.

What is absolutely the best cookie you’ve ever had?  I have had so many great ones and anything that is warm and fresh is by far the best.  I seem to remember  a cookie that was really big warm and gooey that the family shared one time but can’t remember where or when.

What is a cookie you really don’t care for?  I do not like frosting on my cookies at all so anything with frosting I do not care for!!!

What are some other cookies you are rather fond of?  I even love plain sugar cookies and cookie dough so most likely if it’s free of frosting I will eat it .

Grocery-store cookies are, of course, never as good as anything that comes out of someone’s kitchen, but what’s a packaged cookie that’s still pretty good?  If the grocery store itself makes them and packages them I go for that first… the next best is the Soft and Chewy kind.

In general, do you think cookies should be chewy and gooey, or should they be crispy and crunchy?  Chewy and gooey all of the way for sure!!!  Crispy and crunchy screams over cooked or getting old to me.

What is your favorite red food?  Oh that has to be Strawberries for sure!!! 

When were you last caught red-handed?  My kids catch me all of the time trying to sneak a food I don’t want them to have LOL!

What’s your nicest red article of clothing?  A really nice shirt I got from Lands End last Spring.

Who’s got the loveliest red hair? My little man!!!

What are your thoughts on the 2002 Baz Luhrmann film Moulin Rouge!?  I loved that movie… just another favorite Musical type movie and I really enjoy watching them.

In A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Lysander says,

How has this proven (or not proven) to be the case in your life?  I think it has proven not to be true because God has been in control of my life and my relationships.  So even though there were times that were so heart breaking to me then they all lead me to Joel and it could not have been more perfect.

In Hamlet, the title character says, “Frailty, thy name is woman!” Who in your life has proven this not to be true? And if you’re willing to share, who in your life has proven this to be completely true?  There have been so many strong women in my life most of my own mother that show women are not weak and frail but in fact they are so important to everyone around them.  It would also be wrong to say that someone is weak and frail because the way someone may seems may not be who they are at all.

In The Merry Wives of Windsor, Pistol says,
“Why then the world’s mine oyster,
Which I with sword will open.”

 Ignoring the possible sexual meaning here, how do you feel about oysters?   Well I will not eat oysters because they are slimy and gross in my opinion.  However in the context that Pistol talks and most refer they are talking about how when you get the right oyster you are receiving great profit.  However not all oysters carry the same profit and it becomes more of a eye of the beholder.  Just because it may not be the most beautiful pearl there can still be tons of great things (profit) that comes from it.

In The Merchant of Venice, Lorenzo says,
“The man that hath no music in himself,
Nor is not mov’d with concord of sweet sounds,
Is fit for treasons, stratagems, and spoils.”

Do you agree, and have you known anyone who seemed to be completely unmoved by any kind of music?  I personally thing that music can be one of the most moving things ever since it can really set the tone to how your brain perceives things.  Even if a moment in a movie seems like it’s not too sad the right music can have people crying that never would have before.  I think in some way or another music moves everyone, they may not know how or why but it affects them.

Is Shakespeare overrated, or is he truly the western world’s greatest writer? I do not and will not ever completely understand what Shakespeare is trying to say but his way of telling a story of common life things seems so much more moving through his eyes!

How’s your poker face?  It really depends on who I am around.  With Joel it is impossible to fool him but others I can keep a straight face and pull the wool over their eyes.

When were you last red-faced?  This happens all of the time with Joel as my husband

When will it be time for you to face the music?  I actually prefer to “face the music” as I go so I can learn and grow from things.  Everything happens good and bad for a reason and you have to take and learn from them all.

What’s an issue about which you’ve done an about-face?  I said I would never ever let a child co-sleep and I thought it was so wrong.  Then I had Logan and though I did not do it for the main reason so many people choose to do it, it save my life because he would not sleep any other way.

Who’s overdue for some face-time with you?  Too many people to even begin to name because life has been so busy this past year.

What is your laundry basket like?  Pretty much your typical white laundry basket!

What in your life is threatening to go to hell in a handbasket?  Most plans I put together because then I am always learning that I am not incontrol and and plan has already been laid for me.

What was the occasion for your receiving your last gift basket, and what was in it?  I think it was about the time I had Logan.

When could you last have been described as a basket case?  This past summer right after Joel’s and my Grandmas both passed away, we lost power, and our main shower in our bathroom fell apart.

How’s your bread basket?  It is kept full and fresh by my Savior!!!

How many hours’ sleep do you need in order to be at your best, and what’s the minimum you can get on a regular basis and still be functional?   I love when I get 10 hours of sleep because I just feel great.  However I normally need about 7 or so to function on a daily basis.

What’s your favorite sleeping position?  I sleep on my left side almost on my stomach.

What was the cause of your most recent difficulty sleeping? My snoring from the sinus allergy stuff starting to happen.

When you can’t seem to drift off to sleep right away, what are some things you do to bring about sleep?  All I have to do is turn on the TV and attempt to watch a show I care about and I always seem to fall asleep!!!

When did you last doze off at an inappropriate time or in an inappropriate place?  I don’t really know of a time even in the last 10 years even….

“What’s new?”  I am really trying hard to get life and all aspects that affect it in a more organized order.

“[insert your recent weather condition here] enough for ya?” Lets see right now it’s sunny and nice but tomorrow snow is on it’s way again so  it should ask if the weather is crazy enough for you.
