Popcorn Friday

So today was my first ever popcorn friday that I worked at the girls school. It was fun to work and help in the school as I have no been in the school as much as last year as the girls teacher do not need ask for as much help as other teachers do. So today while helping with popcorn I took on the task of delivering the batches of popcorn to the classroom. The kids could hear me coming down the hall many classes away from their own since the cart was so stinking loud. That cart could have really used some industrial bearings on it. I hope by the next time I help that they do something about that crazy cart because it had to be so distracting to the teacher trying to actually teach our children!

Lost

Well today Allie lost one of her earings at school…honestly I don’t understand how you are sitting down for story time and it just falls out and you don’t think to look for it yet you know it’s gone. She says to me “It’s ok Mom we can just get a new diamond”. First off honey it was not a real diamond and secondly diamond earrings for women don’t grow on trees. So then she just loses it because she says she would have been more careful. However this is the child that has lost almost 3 different shrug sweaters because they have fallen off while playing on the playground. How the heck does that even happen without you noticing but apparently it happens to Allie all of the time! What a goof!!!

Funny Man

So Joel and I are looking to buy a new TV stand for our TV in the very near future. Since I thought we have no need for our current one I am getting ready to post it on Craigslist to get it out of my house and make some money on it. Instead my funny husband has this idea that we need to save it so we can look at some LCD tvs to maybe get a bigger one for the livingroom and then move the not so small one that works perfectly in our livingroom (because I hate when people obviously buy one way too big for their space). So now I need to wake this man up because I will not be one of those people…it’s just plain tacky in my opinion and it happens with too many people!

Winter Chaco’s

Well it’s time I put some money out next month to get myself a new pair of shoes. Durning the summer I live in my Chaco sandals and love them however my feet often hurt durning the winter because I have not found the perfect pair of shoes. I did findout that there are Chaco winter shoes recently and now I am on the hunt to find the perfect pair of them. Back before I broke my foot I had to buy narrow shoes for women. Now because my right foot was the narrow foot I can buy normal shoes without much problem. Maybe the only plus I got from that whole ordeal….I guess you could say that right? I’ll let you know if I find the perfect Chaco’s!
