Also Known as "Mom"

It is so beautiful out there today. It felt so nice to spend more than 2 hours outside this afternoon. It’s on days when the air is crisp but refreshing that I often start thinking about way too many things. Like how to make our house be a place we can continue to live in for many years, what I want to do with my time as the kids get older, and just all of the great things in my life. This is more of a Spring and Fall thing… so it was not something I felt in Hawaii.

One of my main thoughts today was the whole college thing. So I want to go back to GVSU and finish 6 more clasess but have to deal with being a classroom again or do I want to transfer credits and have some more classes than 6 to take and do an online college degree program? It’s so hard because I do not want to sit in a classroom anymore unless I can do hands on type of stuff. IF I have to do papers and an lecture stuff I’ll pass for the online stuff. So then that makes me want to get more off a hands on associates type of degree and be happier long term and enjoy myself???

After all of the ads that I have talked about seeing for the get slim fast type diet pills I finally one that was more about the side effects of diet pills. I can not tell you how refreshing that is to see. The young girls out there trying those things that are already slim to need how they are not safe for them and can cause permanent damage to their bodies. I hope to see more of those from now on!!!

I don’t know about you but around that time of the month my face decides to make it’s on personal oil fountain. I so wish there was a hormonal acne treatment that attacks the hormones that cause the issues brought on by PMS. It just sticks to even have to deal with it as an adult on a monthly basis. I almost wish at points that it would just leave me alone for good because as per the decision of getting my tubes tied I no longer need the plumbing to work like that anymore!!!

While we were in Maui we did a Timeshare presentation at the Marriott in Ka ‘anapali and really learned a lot about what we need to know should we move ahead with the idea of buying one in the years down the road. We have some knowledge in timeshares already with my parents already haveing two of them and we used the trade in of one to go to Maui. One thing I did learn is that when you see companies talking about being a place for people to “sell my timeshare” they are actually making it so that someone who buys that through a resale company next to impossible to book their time. Companies don’t want you to resale through anyone but themsleves so they make the new buy pay big time by putting them in a horrible position. Which is good to know if we buy down the road to buy right form the source and save time and money even though it doesn’t look that way.

I still feel like we are in Maui when I am sleeping at night. It’s probably because I dream about all of the awesome things we were able to do there. Some of the things that really stick out in my mind are the unbeatable sunsets, all of the whale breeches, and just the time to talk and enjoy the company of my husband. I actually miss him and he only works in the basement. Most would say go visit him down there more but honestly I’m just trying to let us both readjust to the real world and let him get caught back up on work so I have been trying really hard to leave him alone more than I normally do durning work hours. I hope he can see that too !

Of all the hundreds of sizes and shapes bread seems to come in, what is your favorite?  How can I honestly pick just one… most breads that do not have strong flavors and are warm last seconds in my presence.

What’s your favorite thing to eat with rice? Chicken for sure!!!

What are your feelings about milk?  I like it mixed with things and occasionally by itself.

What was wrapped in the tortilla you most recently ate? Egg, cheese, and bacon at the airport in LAX.

How many staplers are there in your house and where are they? One and it’s in the Computer cabinet.

I think when it comes to all of the computer and texting speak out there that I am pretty well versed and understand a good amount of most of the lingo. However more and mroe companies are starting to try and use this new lingo to make a go at putting their company out there with the cool kids. But when you see soemthing like lipo 6 hers. Honestly what the heck does that really say and the only thing that stands out to me is the lipo part. It really makes me wonder how bad do people want to be at the level to get their company attention????

Well I don’t know if it has been from the time in the sun or just that well quite frankly I’m in my 30’s now but while putting lotion on this morning I realized that I could really use some eye wrinkle cream. It’s not like an overnight thing that showed up and looks horrible but more of something the sun brought out and is just probably more noticeable to me than others. Gotta love aging and all of the things it brings…granted this is so minor and I’m not sure the lotion will make much of a difference but if I can get a good price to try it I surely will!

Well we got home last night and boy was the alarm this morning a rude awaking. I thought it was so strange for an alarm to be going off at what felt like 2 am in the morning… and even weirder to me was that it was so light then as well. It was then that I realized that I was no longer in the paradise known as Hawaii but instead I was back in my own bed. As much as I loved every minute of Hawaii I missed the kids like crazy and the life we have with them so reality is not a bad thing in the long run. However I could do with out all of the junk e-mails and snail mail to go through. There are so many different ways to lose weight, get a better body, and skin treatments between the two junk mails stuff that I’m over that. Granted the weirdest one was a ad for back acne treatments that came in a coupon booklet in the mail. Wouldn’t that be the same as just normal acne??? Oh well welcome back to reality and life again. It feels good but I miss the sun and mountains!!!

What’s something you do more quickly than most people?  Get ready in the morning or just in general.  I care how I look but I really don’t put a lot of time into it because who I am is more important than how my clothing looks or my makeup etc…

What’s something you do more carelessly than most people?  I’m a pretty careless typer LOL

What’s something you do more slowly than most people? All Math… I suck at it.

What’s something you do more carefully than most people? Writting letters… I will not just write an e-mail and just send it and if it’s important I’ll often spend days on it.

In what contexts are you more patient than most people? Dealing with large groups of kids my childrens ages.
