How often do you get paid?  I really don’t since I don;t have a job.

Do you tend to splurge a little on (or shortly after) pay day?  Not really…

What are the few days leading up to pay day like for you?  The same normal day as usual.

If you had the option, would you like to be paid daily for each day’s work?  That we be a cool thing if it really was fesible.

When did you get your first paycheck and what was it for?   I was probably around 12 or 13 and I babysat to make money.

This summer we are planning on doing lots of projects in hopes of putting the house on the market next spring.  Our list seems so long it feels like it will for sure take all year.  We need to get the basement cleaned out and painted, get new kitchen coutner tops, do something about the carpet in the bathroom, fix up the back yard including new fence installation and repair, and lastly we have about 20 other million things to do as well. I know it’s going to feel so good to get those things done but we are so going to need vacations. We actually are purchasing a GMC Yukon tomorrow that we are in love with and will be great for the much needed vacations!!!

When you travel, what kinds of souvenirs do you like to bring home for yourself?  I often will collect a magnet and sometimes a snowglobe as well.

Is there a certain kind of souvenir you always bring back for a particular someone?  I use to bring back a shot glass for my hubby.

Of the souvenirs you’ve collected from your travels, what are some that have special meaning for you?  I would say the NYC magnet we got on our honeymoon that still has the World Trade Centers on it.

What’s the silliest souvenir you’ve brought back for yourself, or what’s the silliest souvenir someone has brought back for you?  Coconut shell drink holders from Orlando in 2007.

If you were going to send someone a souvenir from places you visited today, what might it be?  I would probably find a local postcard to send to someone.

I hope you have all had a great Valentines Day. Joel and I had our first date 11 years ago today. So hard to believe it’s been that long. I love him even more every year!

Ever since Joel got a new Linksys router in the basement I find I keep getting kicked off the internet connection. It’s driving me nuts. I bet he is doing it just for that reason. He lives to pick on me and yeah it may be funny but gosh it makes me even more crazy. I know I’m not the only one that has a hubby that loves to have fun and even gets the kids in on it. Yeah the internet connection is not his doing really but he has the kids smack my bottom every time I bend over and even Logan is in on it now. CRAZY family in my opinion!!!

This past week, were you more predator or prey? I felt like the prey because the week went way too fast and I didn’t get nearly as much done as I should have or wanted to do.  I was just to tried and worn out from the kids.

Which Beatles song title could best be the title of your week? Click here for complete list of Beatles songs! “A Day in the Life” because this was just a normal week for a mom of 3 kids.  It was busy, fast moving, and tiring.

“Roses are red / Violets are blue / ___________ / __________.” How would you complete this poem so that it described this past week? The house is smelly and so is Logan.  Man that kid has put out a lot of smelly stuff this week LOL!!!

How many pieces of unopened mail are sitting wherever you put your unopened mail? None… I can’t just let it sit there ever.

What was the best meal of the past seven days? The night that I had MOPS because I didn’t cook any of it!!!

We have had a flat screen now for almost a year and I love it. At first I was like no big deal it’s just a TV and doesn’t make a difference in my life. However I love being able to watch actual wide screen shows. When we first got the TV I also thought it was weird that came with a tv mount for the wall. Now that we have had it though I can see why it would be nice to be able to mount it. We never move the location because it’s in a perfect place. Now I wish we had gone with an entertainment center that was more buffet style because of how sleek those look. Oh well some day down the road we could go that route.

What does this term mean to you?  In a lot of people’s eyes this is being slim and looking good.  So many people out there will do anything to get there too.  There is always a new wonder diet pill out there that claims to solve everything. To me though it really means that my life changes and I feel good about how I look and I am physically healthy. It adds years to my life and I didn’t need an over night solution. I have been back at reimplementing this into my life and it has been wonderful. I am back down to my pre-pregnancy weight from Maddie and I feel so much better. I feel better about how I fit into my clothing and I am eating in a way that is good for myself and my family. It feels so great!!!

Allie thinks we are getting an SUB.  It’s so cute to hear her call the SUV that and we laugh almost everytime.  We are still working on the details with the dealership but hope that things will work out.  Right now we are waiting on what the financing will look like and also some other small details.  I know we will miss our van because it’s been such a great vehicle for us but I think this is going to be better for our needs.  Hopefully by tomorrow we will have more info.

With so many of the changes in technology there are some things that will never change.  One of these to me has to be exit signs. They look no different today then I remember them as a child. I am sure this is because people know what they look like and that helps if people ever need to find them in case of an emergency. I just find it funny though how some things will never change and this is one that no matter how much changes it will not change much at all.
