We went and got our trailer from my Grandma’s poll barn this past weekend because it was so nice out and we wanted stuff we had stored in it for the winter. I also know it was getting to be time to start thinking camping because we had started to get the usual good sam motorhome towing info in the mail. We have never used this service because we have AAA for both our insurance and as members. So we do not see the need to get this.
I also set up all of our camping dates and booked our spots last week. We are so excited to have a great time camping this summer and we already have 5 trips booked. We may add in a few last min trips as well once we get into the summer because we keep the trailer fairly ready to go most of the time. Bring on the sun!!!
How many hours’ sleep do you need in order to be at your best, and what’s the minimum you can get on a regular basis and still be functional? I love when I get 10 hours of sleep because I just feel great. However I normally need about 7 or so to function on a daily basis.
What’s your favorite sleeping position? I sleep on my left side almost on my stomach.
What was the cause of your most recent difficulty sleeping? My snoring from the sinus allergy stuff starting to happen.
When you can’t seem to drift off to sleep right away, what are some things you do to bring about sleep? All I have to do is turn on the TV and attempt to watch a show I care about and I always seem to fall asleep!!!
When did you last doze off at an inappropriate time or in an inappropriate place? I don’t really know of a time even in the last 10 years even….
So to keep me on task and to create a work out schedule that I can keep from now on I am going to journal every Saturday how my week was and what sorts of exercises I was able to do. Hopefully this will help me to see a good pattern and also just to keep me accountable for what I am doing. Hopefully this will also make my little weight loss ticker to go down at a more regular pace. I sure hope so!!! So today was day one… and yes I did already do my workout
So everytime I am in the women’s locker room at the gym I get to hear the older ladies talking about just about everything to be honest. I think it’s cute how open they are about things and literally no subject seems to not be ok to talk about. If I recorded half of what is said I’d have a great book to write.
Today just made me laugh because they were talking about one of the ladies daughters that I am guessing to be my age. They were going on and on about how she does not take care of herself and she is not trying to lose weight a healthy way. The mom said that her daughter needs to lose at least 30lbs and then more after that. Apparently she has tried a href=”http://www.weightlosspills.net/”>herbal weight loss pills but those did not work so now she is getting prescription ones. She also shared that her and a friend were having a conversation about how skinny the daughter was as a child and then the friend said “What the heck happened?”. Apparently the mom thought that was so funny because these ladies were just chuckling about this. Oh please do not let me ever get that way….
That is my major goal as a whole for my life. I have so many things I want to accomplish by June. A couple of the big ones are get the house to do list done. Get this weight off once again… and that needs to be done by changing my foods from snacking to foods that burn fat. And getting a good exercise plan going and easy to maintain.
This is a typical spring thing for me based at looking back at the last few years. I seem to slack off every year durning the deep winter months. However my goal is to get a plan that works all year long for me so that when spring hits next year it might mean I can feel proud of where I am at. I just hope that I can get to a place that I feel more comfortable in the way that I get through everyday instead of feeling like I just slacked off. We shall see….

I hate this task because not only does it take up my time but it often means wasting money because things have not been used in a timely maner and they are no longer good. Like take for instance I went through the medicine cabinet before we went to Hawaii so that it was easy for my parents to find what they needed for the kids. While I was going through it I found an almost full bottle of men’s multivitamin and it sucks because even though I got it on sale it still is wasted money. I guess it should be a sign that Joel is not planning on taking these but it’s just one of those things. I do feel very happy to say that I was lucky most of the other cabinets were not too bad!!!
When was the last time you had a serious deadline to make, and did you make it? Actually today was a pretty big deadline for a bunch of Teacher donated Silent Auction and Raffle items I had to organize and create display stuff for. I am done and have been since last night and I don’t need it till 1pm today so I think I did well!!!
Do you generally plan for deadlines, or are they more likely to sneak up on you until you’re frantic? I try really hard to plan for my deadlines but they often come a bit faster than I’d like and the part that drives me nuts is when I have to rely on others to complete my part. They often look at the task differently than I do and it can’t always meet my thoughts of a plan.
When did you last set a deadline for someone else, and did that person make it? I can’t say I’ve ever set a big deadline for someone else but I do set up plans fr the family and I think we tend to meet most on time.
How flexible and understanding are you when it comes to other people meeting your deadlines? Like I said it’s not persay others meeting my deadlines because I really don’t have chances to do that in the things in my life but I do struggle in waiting for things from people to be able to do my part on something.
What were the circumstances the last time you hung up on someone in the middle of a phone call, or the last time someone hung up on you in the middle of a phone call? I can not say as I have no clue….
It is so beautiful out there today. It felt so nice to spend more than 2 hours outside this afternoon. It’s on days when the air is crisp but refreshing that I often start thinking about way too many things. Like how to make our house be a place we can continue to live in for many years, what I want to do with my time as the kids get older, and just all of the great things in my life. This is more of a Spring and Fall thing… so it was not something I felt in Hawaii.
One of my main thoughts today was the whole college thing. So I want to go back to GVSU and finish 6 more clasess but have to deal with being a classroom again or do I want to transfer credits and have some more classes than 6 to take and do an online college degree program? It’s so hard because I do not want to sit in a classroom anymore unless I can do hands on type of stuff. IF I have to do papers and an lecture stuff I’ll pass for the online stuff. So then that makes me want to get more off a hands on associates type of degree and be happier long term and enjoy myself???
After all of the ads that I have talked about seeing for the get slim fast type diet pills I finally one that was more about the side effects of diet pills. I can not tell you how refreshing that is to see. The young girls out there trying those things that are already slim to need how they are not safe for them and can cause permanent damage to their bodies. I hope to see more of those from now on!!!
